I know the staff said the injury occurred during fall camp. I was at the NC State game and saw him take a wicked shot on that shoulder when he was tackled. He got up and went straight to the sideline, I think he didn’t return or came back in before half time.

Yes, which can cause the shoulder to pop in and out. I that’s why you see him coming off the field with his sleet arm hanging down and 10 min later he is back out there.

I had labrum surgery last year

Hip not shoulder but I think it functions very similarly.
Based on my personal experience there's absolutely no relief except for surgery. Maybe they can shoot him up with something for a few hours, but anti-inflammatories and the like did essentially nothing for me.
The labrum is basically a gasket-like ring of tissue that seals and cushions the ball joints in your hip or shoulder. When the labrum tears you lose that seal and that cushion, and that can cause numerous issues like destabilization of the joint, popping and clicking sensations (sometimes painful), radiating nerve pain that limits use of leg/arm, and sometimes an extremely painful jolt from the torn part of the labrum getting pinched. It felt like being stabbed by a knife but would typically pass in about 30 seconds.

He is very tentative and slow in hitting the hole... which I understand. He has been a warrior over the years but he clearly is not the same Mafah.
