Yes, they do this to other bands (according to a VT student I know). I really hope we continue to be a school of class and great sportsmanship and don't do this to the other bands. We didn't send the full band to VT on Saturday. If we had, and with how they are starting the clock for halftime now, I hate to think about our tuba players (and all the others) having to go up and down quickly.

No, I say treat the visiting band in a first class way. This is the way Clemson does things.

Apparently the reason they do it is because of the agreement they have with UVA. For example, in our agreement with the coots, we allot 2k seats close to the field for their band and fans and they do the same for us. Therefore, we can't sell those seats as season tickets because it would violate our agreement with the coots. VT's agreement with UVA is for the top corner.

I guarantee you 2000 tiger season tickets holders would gladly give up their upper deck corner seats for this game to sit in the west end zone. Guaranteed!
