Anyone seen yet, what the spread is for the game? Just needing something to put my mind at ease. Hopeful to see us FAVORED by 9 or so!

It was 9.5 before Watson got hurt. If he plays I'm pretty sure it'll be about the same.
If Cole plays, I'm thinking around 7 or 8

How on God's Green Earth can we be favored? Has anybody watched us play lately? We put up just 28 points yesterday...against the worst defense in FCS football.
I love our defense and all, I just don't see them holding Spurrier to less than 20 points, and asking our offense to score more than ten right now even on the abysmal D that is South Carolina's 2015 unit seems like a big ask.
I guess weirdness happens, and maybe our D gets a couple pick-sixes, but short of that, I don't see how any Clemson fan can have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this game if Watson isn't functional.
Minus Watson, alas, I think we get beat like we stole something. I'm already mentally resigned to it and will endeavor mightily to not froth at the mouth and throw furniture while it happens. I will cheerfully take even the ugliest and most fortuitous of 1-point wins against South Carolina and smile a big happy smile.

Scar is terriable. That's how we will be favored. Their defense is nonexistent it doesn't matter who's playing quarterback all we have to do is run the ball and we win the game.

our defense is starting to come together actually. We have talent we just lacked confidence and did not play well at the end of certain games. Its a work in progress but i see the game being a pickem or clemson favored by 1-3

Go back to an offense with a pulse (Tennessee), and you'll see 645 yards and 45 points.
Don't delude yourself. Your defense hasn't "come together" at all. Add in Rico McWilliams being out and you're in for a long day, with or without Watson playing.
