That’s a new one for me. Aren’t all the players ‘two way’ with the ecxception of DH’s and pitchers?

A two way player is a player who can pitch and hit. It’s not uncommon in college, but the only truly notable MLB players to be two way players are Babe Ruth and Shohei Ohtani

well sort of. I think it was Rick Ankiel for the cardinals who pitched and played outfield. Now I will grant you he did not do both the same season as I recall. He was a MLB pitcher who became an outfielder later in his career
