TNET: Too Blessed To Be Stressed: Swinney not angry about loss to LSU

Too Blessed To Be Stressed: Swinney not angry about loss to LSU

Maybe Alabama is angry. Maybe it’s just a storyline. Maybe Ohio St. is angry after losing to Clemson in the College Football Playoff Semifinal. Maybe it’s just a talking point. Is Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney angry after losing to LSU in the title game? Not a chance. (Photo: Kirby Lee / USATODAY) Full Story »

Never too high, never too low.

Well, he admitted he was angry after the 2015 loss to Bama. Kinda weird reporting by Hood, acting like Dabo is not petty enough to be angry after a loss, and then quoting him as saying he was angry after the 2015 loss to Bama. At least it looks like Dabo has grown as a coach since then--2 Nattys will help too

No wonder you have a 48% pulse.

If you care to pay attention to context or even make an honest evaluation of the Bama game you would know that Clemson was a better team than Alabama that year. You would also know that it was obvious that LSU was better than Clemson this past year. Go back and actually read the article with what Swinney said instead of posting a stupid comment. You sound like another bitter chicken free ranging on our board.

And many impartial viewers of the Fiesta Bowl would say that Ohio State was the better team this past year--yet Hood still threw shade at them for being angry that they lost.

My point had nothing to do with who was perceived to be the better team, it was clearly pointing out his hypocrisy by making it sound like Dabo is ABOVE being angry after a loss, and then quoting him as saying that he was angry in 2015.

OSU was clearly better for one quarter not so much afterwards.

However, you need to worry about your own coach instead of pecking around on a Clemson board.

One of us has multiple Clemson degrees, and it ain't you

If they were better they’d have won

The entire game was a virtual reset with under three minutes left. Clemson scored ... OSU did not. Game over.

Yet we were better than Bama in 2015 and lost. Weird

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

if we were better than Bama in 2015, we’d have won.

The opportunity was there.

We couldn’t play special teams on either side of the ball.

We blew it.

... Your move ...

Better tell that to CootSmackdown16. He said Clemson was better in 2015 than Bama

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe so, but ... you were talking to me.

Apr 7, 2020, 7:12 PM

So I really don’t need to say anything to him.

Really? A team that gave up a 94 yard TD drive and threw an interception in the last 4 minutes was the better team? Better teams perform with everything is at stake in the face of adversity, one team did and the other wilted under pressure.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

A four-play, 94 yard drive when the game was theirs to win

Apr 7, 2020, 9:27 PM

Four plays ... like shat thru a goose.

We are so fortunate to have Coach Swinney! Here he is providing hope in the middle of the toughest times many of us have ever seen.

“This Is Gonna End Real Soon”

“Too blessed to be stressed”

Keep it coming Dabo. I am so thankful for you and what you do! You are an inspiration!

Awesome response by our Tiger HC, and I'm happy and glad that he has slowed his role with allowing the media to prog him into making one of his not so famous off the the wall comments. Dabo had a long way to go in becoming an all around HC and act like one. As we all have seen over the past couple of years, Dabo has become one of the best HC's on the field and in front of the media. IMO, no new first time ever HC has done as well as Dabo has done in every aspect of becoming a first time very successful HC, and he has done that with excellent assistant coaching hires, and with little help from his so called friends. Without any doubts, he has made Tiger Nation proud of him and the Tiger teams that he brings to play each game day throughout the entire college FB season. Dabo the man has become a well rounded Head FB Coach that his assistants, his players, and the Clemson fan base LOVE and respect him 100%!!!!

In the playoff, Clemson has not only covered the spread but also won four of seven games as an underdog.
