Regardless of conference, I tend to pull for colleges in the South, sometimes even Miami and UNCheat.
I never pull for OHS, USuCK, or ND.

Rooting for another conference team is beneath them. Even if we were in the SEC, we would be Clemson and not chant SEC. Well, maybe the children would. Like the jits that woohoo and tried that bear claw hand sign thing. There will always be some idiots.

We lost the "ban the woo-hoo" war. We put up a good fight.
But we have to stop the "mother f'n" in the middle of the fight song. We sound like a MD Terrapin fan and USCjr fan sent their kids to school at Clemson. It's embarrassing.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to put my galoshes on and head out to IHOP for the early bird special, hopefully those youngin's stay off my snow covered lawn while I am gone

You are not wrong as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather opt for a team from the south. That’s how I became a Bama fan as a kid. They were always playing ND or some big ten team or the real USC or UCLA. That’s all we got to see back then. But Miami is pretty low on my list. I lived down there for a while too and there are more Yankees and foreigners there than southerners.

I hate Texas but I'll take Satan and the Fighting Demons over ND, I'd pull for OSU first.

Don't get this line of thinking at all. I don't pull for most southern teams especially if we have ever played them. In the event 2 southern teams play generally speaking i pull for the one I dislike the least
