Thanks i asked my son if he remembered a call i really could not. Thats not possible with the pressure the d line only applies. That coupled with all the PI calls looks like tv likes lots of points

There was one this year where one of our D Tackles beat the guard and center and was basically dragging one of them as they held onto his shoulder pads. Still no flag.

against opponents. I don't have the time or energy for the rest. Bottom line, while there may be some disparity here and there, the real problem is that refs don't look for holding, and they choose to ignore it 90% of the time they see it, no matter who it is. I've ranted and raved about it on here ad nauseum.

that comes as no Suprise. ACC refs are the worst in all of college football. they seem to think their purpose in the game is to make the teams EVEN. as opposed to making it a FAIR contest. if you penalize the stronger team more and the weaker team less, you make the teams equal. well, teams are not supposed to be equal. there is always going to be one team that is better than the other. ACC refs have taken all the enjoyment out of watching the game. every play you have to scan the field for penalty flags, or wonder why a flag was not thrown. how do they keep their jobs? isnt there some sort of accountably for refs? if not there should be.

Not even close, dude. Big 12 refs are the worst and my team is being punished for leaving the conference. 14 penalties against Texas last eeek and 0 against Oklahoma State. That was a joke of a game. If Texas had a big play it was coming back because of penalty.

We had 2 Saturday night (albeit 1 by a WR). Neither of them seemed as egregious as some the other way.

It’s part of the “best shot” that all our opponents bring to the games. They prepare relentlessly for underexertion on offense so they won’t get called for holding against our defense.

Exactly right, Dabo should be sending tapes to the front office, of course then our offensive line will have 4 calls in a game.

I'm willing to bet my mortgage that's the least in the league, yet we have the most dominant defensive front in the league. Yeah, makes sense.
This is truly a head-scratcher. Dabo doesn't normally talk about penalties (unless we commit too many), but he really should make public light of this, as soon as tomorrow's presser.

have on D-Line, it probably hurts us more than most, but refs miss or willfully ignore 90% of all holding calls no matter who it is. Breaking the rules has become standard technique.
