Last year's game has no bearing. Both teams are different in players; winning motivation is essentially the same. The old adage of defense wins championships will hold here.

Not any more than people who forget the last time we didn't

have a turnover. Turnovers are a part of our game, apparently.
If we have -1 or better TO ratio then we win the game. -2 and it's hairy, any worse and I say they have the edge.
As long as we get to Lavar Jakeson to disrupt his passing game, and we get 150yards on the ground and -1 turnover margin or better, we win with little drama at the end.

And two (might've been 3) of our TOs were inside the Lville 10yd line...we also let up, clearly, in the second half after we got the big lead. We did that a lot last year and let teams back in the game that shouldn't have been, curious to see if this year's D will close out games.

The time of possession in the game was ridiculously one-sided, too. Clemson scored so fast when it wasn't turning the ball over. LJ had the ball for 38 minutes in racking up his yards. The Tigers...only 22 minutes. Even that up and the results will speak for themselves.

We've got to start winning the turnover battle to get back to the playoffs.

I like Adelson alright. She is usually pretty unbiased. But in this instance, I really think she just wanted to use the word "mitigate" in a sentence.
