I don't understand why actors and entertainers feel the need to tell us all how they are going to vote. I fully support Swift's right to participate in the convo, but could care less who she is supporting politically.
Having said that, if she is able to mobilize voters to turn out for her candidate of choice, so be it.
I suspect 90+% of actors and entertainers lean Dem, shocking news.

Anyone that would base their vote on what some celebrity, athlete, or social media "influencer" says is an idiot that's probably too stupid to vote anyway. Most voters I know don't give a shid what any of these spoiled rich people think - especially one like Taylor Swift who's been in the "top 1%" since she was teenager and has no clue what it is like to live a middle class American life.
I find it the height of arrogance when these very affluent entertainers and their ilk feel that they must espouse a political opinion. They surround themselves with paid sycophant employees and live in a closed bubble world that's propped up by adoring fan based echo chambers. Eventually they start to believe the echo chamber adoration gives them some higher level of "awareness" and they feel an obligation to "speak out". In reality, however, their "speaking out" tends to be standard talking point tripe fed to them from their publicists to keep them in the good graces of their industries preferred politics.
