Is this what The actual University want the rest of the nation to think about us when our 7 figure employee gets triggered and goes on a rant with a teen Is this covering the real thing, the University itself NOT the football team. with glory and making it look attractive

76+ years is that the attention span of the American people is about three weeks on any topic.
Then, something else happens, and off we go into the wild, blue yonder on another topic, event, controversy...you name it.
Besides, if Clemson winds up beating Notre Dame Saturday, people will be calling Dabo a sheer genius in marketing and motivation for his so-called rant!

Unless you work in marketing. The average American has an actual attention span of 30 seconds. You have 30 seconds or less to get your point across or you've lost the 98.5% and they've moved back to where they are comfortable.

There are probably some things he said that I would have worded differently given time to compose a well thought out response. He didn't have that time though. He was shooting from the hip during a live call-in show and gave a candid emotional response defending himself and the program. If nothing else, this should light a fire under the players to want to go out and play for someone who is so emotionally invested in this program.
I tell you one thing, if someone criticized my department to my boss and he got that fired up about it, I'd want to do the best job I could for him.

I think Dabo handled Tyler poorly but I've only heard him take responsibility and have never heard him blame others. My problem is he doesn't see the problems(doubtful) or is candid or maybe way too optimistic.

Which is exactly why I hope that a conversation with Dabo was initiated by Neff, Clements, et al. to remind him that he needs to do better.
If not, then we have a huge problem at Clemson far bigger than our disappointing 2023 season.

I just wish it had happened earlier so it would have buried the Tampon dispensers removal from the men's rooms. Our university doesn't need that foolishness publicized. I'm afraid to see what a Biology syllabus looks like these days.
