Until I read that article my biggest concern was the DBs.

IMO, we have gotten our asssses kicked in the last two CFPs due to poor DB play. LSU and OSU torched us. The offense was decent enough although we definitely missed the type of receiver and a 3rd and Renfrow-type receiver the past two seasons.

those things, like us stomping Bama a couple years ago. Everything we did clicked perfectly, every critical 3rd & long was converted, Bama shot themselves in the foot many times, we made spectacular plays, etc. We weren't 44-16 better than Bama. But it happens.
Ohio State... yes, we were outcoached and looked off all night. But they only played what, 5 games? I feel like they had a real hard-on for Clemson, and maybe even used their spare time to prep and plan for us. And then they played lights out.
I don't know. I'm not too worried just yet about this season. I'm more concerned about how recruiting is going and the future, TBH. This NIL stuff is gonna hurt us, you watch...

sneaky good team. My only problem is that I have no faith that Tony Elliott is creative enough to get the offense going. Losing Jeff Scott was a huge deal. Opposing teams have queued into Elliott's vanilla schemes.
