I’ve been going since 6:30 am while it’s dry.
Anybody want to come out & give me a hand picking this hay up and stacking it?
I hope our Tigers are working hard in the heat too!

I spun my phone 360⁰ to look at these pics. I usually only have to go 90⁰ for Ole Spud. This must have been Spud Photography 102

There is a difference in North's. Anything NW of Ohio is pretty decent minus Chicago. I sure would rather be working outside in Anchorage Ak this wk vs Summerville, SC.

Last summer I went to work between 4 and 6 am and quit work around lunch. On a good day I'd work till 1 pm. I can not do heat anymore.
One summer during my Clemson years I was hanging sheetrock in a skylight. I estimated it to be 135 degrees, totally surrounded by uninsulated walls in an attic. I remembered why I was a student and that got me by.
Just thinking of that heat now and I need a bottle of water and one of gatorade.

You're NE of me in Concord. If you were closer, I'd be willing to come drive the pickup. At 36 days away from 78, doubt I could toss more than a couple dozen bales on the trailer in current weather conditions. Good luck.

I use round bales too but much easier labor wise with square bales for the Stalled horses on a daily basis. Carrying hay on a rake to 40+ horses is really hard this time of the year or anytime lol.
Round makes it cheaper too but the daily labor adds up to more.
Praying I get done before it rains lol
