Coach is here. Another tough challenge this week. Playing a good team, a confident team that is playing at home. Garrett Shrader is a great QB. Averaging 90 yards per game rushing. Big OL. Couple of big receivers.

Defensively a true 3-3-5 defense. Will get every look known to man. A lot of exotics. Lots of twists and loops and stunts every single snap. Post snap discipline is really important in a game like this. They play hard and physical and swarm to the ball.

We pay our coach 8 figures, we have top 5-10 talent, and we've spent hundreds of millions of dollars on our football program in recent years, and we are 1-4 in our last 5 games against power 5 competition.
We lost to Duke by 3 touchdowns. DUKE!!
We have made critical errors at critical times, our coaches haven't had our team prepared, and our head coach says that we are several plays away from being 4-0. Despite that, he said with a straight face that these players will win 1-2 national championships. LOL.
At some point, Dabo went from upbeat and positive and fun-loving to completely out of touch with reality. That is evident in his coaching hires and his public comments lately.
Look, this year hasn't gone like any of us wanted it to. Going undefeated every year isn't realistic. But with all the advantages our football program has, we shouldn't be in this situation we've been in the last few years. We just shouldn't. Something is wrong.
This goes far beyond "bad luck" and the ball not bouncing our way a few times. I would like to see Dabo acknowledge that, and take responsibility. Truly own it. Not just the RPO play call on 3rd and 1 near the end of the FSU game. Own all of it, and vow to fix it. AND THEN FIX IT.

Rankings....ha. We get beat by a ranked team and they are overhyped and not worthy of their ranking, then we lose to Duke and people want to point out that they are ranked. Either the rankings matter or they don't.
Like this week. Syracuse got 3 more votes than Clemson did to be a ranked team. So if we want to diminish our loss to Duke because they are currently ranked 17 we should be alarmed as all get out that more people think Syracuse should be ranked than us.

I've seen 4-0 Clemson teams whose "B game" takes this years team's "A game" to the wood shed.
we're not as talented (players & coaches) as we once were and it shows.

On Troy Stellato, they didn't count on him, but he has met expectations. He has worked his butt off and if he stays available he will continue to soar. He has a swagger. He's a snatcher, doesn't really catch the ball. Has his entire career in front of him

I think the fans, coaches, and players would be more encouraged and our opponents intimidated if Dabo would just come out and tell the truth. Something like this,
"As our record indicates, this is my worst team since 2010. I have made a number bad player evaluations, poor coaching hires, and refused to take advantage of the portal. How we managed to stay so close with FSU on Saturday is a real head scratcher. I can't possibly see how we win more than 2 games the rest of this season."
I know I feel better just writing that...
