Parking

I know this probably gets discussed every week, but I need advice on parking on Saturday. The last time I visited Clemson for a football game there was virtually zero parking available to the public and I ended up parking on the golf course. Do I need to suck it up and pay handsomely for a parking spot on Seat Geek or are there other viable options?

Either suck it up or bring a back pack and comfortable shoes

I think Kite Hill is the only remaining general public parking lot...

and that's a hike. Y-Beach (Snow) and New Spring on the other side of the lake are the next closest options.
One of the churches on College Avenue or some of the private residences behind Tiger Park may be closer options for you.

I don’t think so. I parked there for Notre Dame and didn’t see any.

Parking by the golf course is actually not bad. The C-1 lot has some general parking you can pay for online. If you get there early you can park downtown on College Ave or one of the churches or houses that sell parking. Kite Hill is free (and a long walk).
You can get cheap parking passes…depending on where you want to park.

Just drive up to the stadium and hand your keys to one of the valets ( they look like ticket scalpers but theyre not).
Tell him your first name and what time you want the car back.
Easy Peazy.

There is an underwater parking garage for visiting fans at Lake Hartwell. It looks like a boat slip but rest assured, it is state-of-the-art parking. Just pull forward until the car is completely submerged and you'll enter the vapor lock chamber. Like, year 3000 technology.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking forward to coming to Clemson tomorrow. I've made every UNC game there since 1980. Victories are rare for us in Death Valley for sure - the last time was the Peppers knockdown/interception.

I have a lot 25 parking pass which is located across from Bowman Field and next to downtown. Perfect for tailgating, throwing the football, shopping or restaurants. I can meet in Simpsonville or Greenville. $100.
