If y’all know how to run the program better than Dabo, why are you constantly posting on Tigernet instead of running the Clemson football program? Hate to bust your bubble, but there is a reason you are here instead of there.

You don’t have to be an expert to notice when an expert messes up.
The idea that Dabo can’t be criticized for obvious errors is ridiculous.
The idea that he can #### on everyone and tell them it’s raining is ridiculous.

Every play called that works out is a great play.
Every play called that doesn’t result in a large gain is a bad play.
If the play calling works and we win, the OC is a genius.
If the play calling doesn’t work, the the OC should be fired.
If Dabo makes a decision and it doesn’t work out, he’s an idiot, should be questioned, and demanded to give an explanation in light of the fact he spends 24/7 with the team.
Even though his program has been pretty #### successful and is in way better shape than he found it?

Watch last night’s game and think that Cade couldn’t have come in and helped against S.C. and then possibly be in cfp. I think truth is somewhere between he is all perfect or all bad.

Dabo’s program has clearly worked and is unmatched. We all owe him thanks. But he clearly made a mistake in not playing Cade more. Cade doesn’t go from bench warmer to mvp in one week. Dabo was wrong. The question is why was he so stubborn?

Let me put it to you this way tigerpaws® ... I've made enough money. Not as much as Dabo, but enough to have no interest in coaching or watching football videotapes all day every day. I'm glad Dabo's our coach.
Now a question for you. If you're going to get a face lift and you see photos from one surgeon, and he's butchered the faces and necks of his misshapen patients, and another surgeon's patients look attractive and healthy, hopefully, you are bright enough to make the right decision on who to select for surgery. You don't need an M.D. to make that decision. Likewise, the variance between Clemson's two QB's have been obvious all year to knowledgeable football fans. They don't need a P.E. degree or 30 years of watching football video to recognize the best QB.
Also for your benefit, I can tell you Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are better QB's than Jared Goff and Daniel Jones if you can't tell, you know because you're not a coach. Good luck and go Tigers!

SocMan2® I think what you are missing is that I don’t believe anyone disputes that Cade had an outstanding game last night. Last night, he demonstrated that he is every bit of that 5 star QB he ranked coming out of HS. We also can agree that while he improved this year, DJ still struggled this year.
But, unless these people have been in the team meetings, been at the practices, and are around the team 24/7, they are only going on their personal opinions. Dabo owes no one an explanation. He gets paid the big bucks to make the difficult decisions, regardless whether it fits our personal fan agendas or not.
Personally, I’m just amazed at the amount of people that just want to gripe about everything and every decision, despite the fact that we are enjoying some of the best years ever in Clemson football. I’ve lived through the years when we just hoped we could win 5 games. These are some great times. Entitlement is sad place to be.

anonymouse No arguments here. Dabo spoke to this last night as well. He said that each time he thought a change was going to occur, either DJ would have a great game or Cade would not do as well as they were anticipating. Dabo faced this same type of transition from Stoudt to Watson and Bryant to TL; he’s definitely no stranger to these decisions. It’s a slippery slope and the way last night worked to perfection makes us all wonder a lot with the limited insight we have as fans.

Looks like he played him too long lastseason as well...the he wasn`t ready is BS as already mentioned,,Cade played last night just like he played for 3 years of HS...spitting frickin image of what he did for 3 years winning 3 state championships on the largest stages Texas has to offer! At ccc he just woke up one morning and was ready (wanna buy a bridge cheap)..now weight room and more practice will make a man out of him but he`ll still be a kid with a great love of the game!

This is called an appeal to authority and it’s a logical fallacy. Someone being the head coach and figure of authority of Clemson football doesn’t mean other people can’t see an obvious mistake.

Nobody is calling for death or demise and I think that bellyaching is what this site is all about! A good question is to ask ourselves who will replace Dabo if he were to leave...as stated before...the LSU former drunk...Dumbo Fishnet...or any of a plethora of worthless ex coaches who are uncommontaters hoping to make it somewhere or anywhere! We all like to give Dabo our 50 cents worth (adjusted for inflation)!

Even Stevie Wonder could see the difference between DJ and Cade. My gripe with Dabo isn’t that he didn’t play Cade until last night it’s standing there on national TV and saying Cade wasn’t ready because he threw an INT ad Notre Dame. How many INTs did DJ throw this year, does that mean he wasn’t ready either? Should Hunter Johnson have been playing this whole time because he didn’t throw any picks.
