Can't taste or smell Jack Schmidt. I mean there's only so many packed pubs you can visit, packed buses, packed planes, etc. Cool thing was I had it a month or so ago.
Several things. In the UK they don't do air circulation. Not a ceiling fan to be found. Forget AC. And no wash cloths. People here must have some gawd awful dirty bungholes. Not even a bidet to be seen.
So you're in a packed pub with 200 drunk Scots, and it's 85 degrees in there and zero air circulation.
Oh and no hooks on bathroom doors. Little things you don't appreciate until they're missing.
Food is amazing though. Even though it's probably the worst of the European food, it's still better than American food. Ate a bag of chips with three ingredients potatoes, sea salt, and rapeseed oil. Just garbage we put in our food. And Haggis is actually good I don't care what anyone says. I had it fixed 4 ways. All good.

He basically said what I knew. The longer it is aged, the smoother it gets. The more expensive it gets. Like tequila. Same deal. Was hoping he had some good news like look at this little unknown, reasonably priced gem. Nope.
Oh well. I like good scotch and a good tequila. Which is why I drink bourbon. I'd go broke drinking scotch. Even wine. You can find really good $20 bottles of wine that taste better than $100 bottles. Bourbon too. Well, maybe $40..still.... Not so with scotch.
