It’s wild to see the difference in responses to this guy leaving than what I have read about DJ leaving.
DJ put his heart and soul into this team - crazy to see all the negative talk about him leaving but this dude gets well wishes and best of luck responses…

Actually DJ did work his way to started but really hasn't performed last two years. The other player leaving is leaving to find way to work two start cause we got Cade. Totally different and fact second guy is white have nothing to do with it. If DJ leaves Tiger Nation will wish him well just didn't have it last couple years. Most of negatives against DJ more toward Dabo games where he is not clicking Dabo OC kept him in. His best game was in backup role Lawrence injury. Game is different as starter cause defense plan is around way QB strength and weakness. Mack Brown said their defense plan was to stop DJ and when Cade came in DJ defense didn't work. They could correct it to stop the CK offense specially with Clemson D stopping their Freshman QBs offense.

What's wild is you. I do not have any experience meeting DJ or any other QB for that matter. I did hang out around Trevor and Chase for a few minutes at Fan Day before the China Flu struck. Those 2 guys seemed like very nice young men, but I guess that was their job.
That being said, as players I loved watching the following players:
Taj Boyd
Woody Danzler
Trevor Lawrence
Homer Jordan
Deshawn Watson
I hated to see all of these players leave. After using all of their eligibility or not.
I did not enjoy watching the following:
Cole Stroud
Kelly Bryant
Brandon Streeter
And I celebrated their leaving in hope of finding a way out of the darkness and into the light. Notice I did NOT say into the "white".
If you can find some sort of racism in that, then I suggest you delete your account and go back to cnn MSNBC or whatever hole you crawled out of. I would invite you to meet face to face, but I'm afraid my patience would grow thin with you very quickly and my accounts receivable would cash the check you are writing. So, to you I say good day.

Transfer portal worse for NCAA. Used to wait for you time to making starting team. Most great players still waited to Junior and Senior season to start. Now its one and done if don't start. He would have gotten to play more next season with Cade starting cause be would be like Lawrence. Where most of the game Lawrence didn't have to place entire game. Though I do understand him little since at QB position Dabo sometimes misses boat playing best QB. But the QBs that leave via portal do get starting jobs of weaker teams. Most classless part if doing it before end of season. Like last season had coaching carousel before end of season. Guess CK's performance in ACC Title Game scared him off. Hope does well at next time?
