They are complaining about their use of the portal. Many are saying they should recruit their players from high school and then coach them up. Their main players from the portal have not panned out. Hartman is a 6th year QB whom they acquired through the portal and they are really upset that they went after him. A 6th year QB worth a darn should already be in the NFL.
Maybe Dabo should check and see if he can swap his complaining “use the portal” fan base with Notre Dame’s. I’m sure he would be happier and so would I to get rid of our entitled snowflakes.

Hartman is actually a pretty good college QB...he just ran into a REALLY good defense today with a chip on their shoulder thanks to Tyler and the grumpy "we won't win another game this season" fanbase.
NO QB can work with pressure consistently in their face. Tom Brady, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning....if the QB is being harassed consistently, they're gonna typically have a bad day. Just facts.

Bahaha I don't think I will. Nobody was going to have a fun day with the heat the Tigers were throwing today.
That said, dude is a gamer extending drives with his legs (boy that was frustrating) but I'm glad the good guys stumped him when it mattered most.

It was mentioned during the broadcast that our offense is 63rd in the nation is points per game, making this Garret Riley's worst season as an offensive coordinator.
You have to ask yourself, what is the reason for this?
A couple more play makers at WR I think would make a huge difference for this team especially with Williams getting hurt, and we could have gotten that from the portal.

Right on the money. ND suffers from the same thing we do ….. lack of quality receivers. I do think several guys in the program will turn out to be excellent college players.

The teams that pay the most for the top players in the portal are having success. Do we have the money to get the top portal players or will we be like Unc and Usc. They both have taken portal players but it has not made much difference in their record.

UNC's second leading receiver is a portal player. I wonder if we could have landed him.

Nobody is saying build the whole team with transfers….. the issue is when we have weak positions we’re not trying to get better at them positions. Nobody is saying. Build the entire team with transfers .
