it's weird how the media decides who to give coverage to and how much.
AJC tried to highlight many of the issues over the last few years about a year or so ago. Surprisingly, it was never picked up by national media.
Even the wreck that resulted in the loss of 2 lives didn't get much coverage after a month, and nobody asked the hard questions to Kirby and held his feet to the fire.

When lives are lost, people are hurt, and/or children are involved there should be no joy for anyone regardless of fan passion. One could argue Kirby is tottering on 'lack of institutional control'; accountability needs to be put in place to prevent stuff like this from happening IMHO.
