It showed the 4 teams in FBS who have not won a game as an underdog in the last two years. Clemson (0-1), Oklahoma (0-2), FAU (0-10) and then… USF 0-23!!

It was Pitt. We were favored against UGA. We were also favored against OSU in the 49-28 game.

Florida is a big state but when you coach the team that is at best the 5th most important in the state you have a tough job especially when every big time school in the country recruits your state.

I am shocked at how bad Jeff has been at USF. I would normally advocate for first time head coaches to go to a G5 program unless they get a great job, like Brent got with OU. I feel like it would be easier to quickly build a G5 program up compared to a P5.
Jeff has utilized the transfer portal more than most teams in the country. He has brought in 36 dudes from the portal in his 3 years. The roster talent has had to have gotten much better. But it's not translating to wins for them.
He is 4-24 in three years. He's only beaten one FBS team. He's 1-17 in conference. Those are numbers are abysmal.
This leads me to believe that Jeff is not a great offensive mind. And for that reason, I would not like to have Jeff back if he were to get fired, which is very likely at this point. Unless it were a support staff positions like his dad had.

Dabo’s organization and attention to detail, both in football, the coaching staff, the support staff, and culture is what helps people feel so connected and work harder than they would somewhere else. People at Clemson feel connected to the mission!
