Well they certainly ain't calling any holding penalties against ND in ND that's for sure. I was there and while we apparently never got off the bus, the level of holding against our D that night was absurd - could see them all night long.

Originally they had us announced ABC for the coverage (which is usually a noon slot) but now they said either ABC or ESPN with FSU / Pitt taking the other slot, so maybe there's a chance we don't have to have Irish coffee at the tailgates. Pregame traffic for noon games is always such a disaster

not usually noon. Clemson's had a lot of 8pm games on ABC. Seems like way more at night than noon or 3:30pm since 2015.

A 4-3 record knocks us out of prime time. For crying out loud we play at 2 on a brand new station this week. Going to be a long climb back up the mountain.

Lol no it doesn't. Y'all say stuff like this and it just proves that you don't pay any attention to how the TV scheduling works..4-3 Colorado is playing on ABC in prime time this Saturday. 2-5 Stanford has a prime Time game on FS1.. man somebody should really go tell the TV networks these teams are disqualified from prime time.
But I know this will fall on deaf ears, y'all just complain it's a conspiracy anytime that Clemson doesn't get a night game at home, no matter their record, no matter the opponent.

Haha, first of all it's not a "long climb" once you start winning. OU was what 6-7 and awful last year, now they're a media darling. Now we will never be that because we aren't a blue blood; and thus is why we get the treatment we do...but I digress. Pitt is potentially on prime time versus FSU...while we're having a down year so far, we have FAR more clout than a Pitt, and we'll be playing the blue blood of all blue bloods. So the time slot has nothing to do with "us being down", it's likely more about whether we beat NCSU (cause while 4-3 not good, 4-4 awful and uninspiring to the TV no matter who we're playing. So it's likely simple, ND beats Pitt and we beat NCSU and we're the 3:30 ABC game, we lose and we're the 12pm game - as I don't see ND losing to Pitt so it's more about whether we beat NCSU.

No one outside of Clemson/ND fans are watching our game. To your point, the FSU game might get some eyeballs if the game is close in the 2nd half, hence their timeslot
