I love Dabo, but he doesn’t have these guys ready. Feel like he thinks we have arrived and no need to change a thing. We have a defensive coordinator with some kind of crazy genius nickname (can’t remember it), but not sure how you get a nickname without doing anything. I can’t stand another season watching this. It’s really painful…at least in the past, I knew what I was going to get.

I’m tired of having to start every comment with “I love Dabo but”. Screw that. You want to be the swinging diiick that walks around with an arrogance we all pretend isn’t there and basically run the school and change it into something we don’t recognize and not even have the courtesy to maintain your success and we’re supposed to say “I love dabo”? Screw that.

None of the frustration in that post was directed at you directly.

He'll clean house on defense after this season, then be given 2 season to turn it around.

Defense didn’t lose this game. And hasn’t really been our problem since even TL16 was here. This #### needs fixed this year, or Dabo needs to be fired.
GO TIGERS!!!!!

Take Colorado, for instance....They don't have the best D but those guys play hard and swarm tackle. We look like we expected to be handed a W just for showing up.

No argument there. It’s just that we’ve wasted top 5 defenses because we can’t get a first down. For years.

It's not totally undeserving, but if he refuses to make changes both personally and with the program his fall from grace will be Joe Paterno-esque. Nobody wants to hear a lecture after you shid the bed against Duke, but you know that's what is coming. The more I see tonight the more I'm convinced he's over-riding Riley on offensive play calling.

he's been, but I don't foresee him staying on this sinking ship. This season is going to be rough, IMO he kinda f'ed up leaving TCU. Pure speculation, but I bet Sonny Dykes gave him a lot more leeway to run the offense than Dabo does.

is him. Did you guys watch TCU last yr? It was power running. They had an extra back with the qb. Klubnick ain't that guy

I will freely admit I did not watch a ton of TCU last year

However, this is basically the same offense we've seen for 10 years over the span of a few coordinators, so I can't really blame Riley.

We were all blinded by the image and hype around Klubnik, deluded ourselves that he was ready last year (when we were hating on DJ).
Now we see that he still isn’t ready (lacks situational awareness) and doesn’t possess special arm talent (accuracy or strength).
He very well might develop as Kenny Pickett type, in that he won’t be ready until another year or two later.
Also, our WR Corp is very very disappointing. Other than A.Williams, no one can get open.
Let’s enjoy each win when it comes. 2023 looks to be our season of humility.
