Nevermind it's with a country where we already enjoyed a $12 billion trade SURPLUS.
$100 says Trump won't mention the US has enjoyed a trade surplus with the UK for many years already.

Spain, Hong Kong, Colombia, or Australia to be next. We run trade surpluses with ALL of these countries.
Probably Netherlands, Hong Kong, or 'Stralia next. They are larger surplusses than the UK, which ranks fourth highest, I think.

Which is frankly astounding because we had one of the sweetest trade deals made anywhere, anywhen in American history. The trade deal they'd cut the first Trump term was so good for us it was literally insulting to the Japanese.
It's like: dude, take the "W". Even Trump-45 would think Trump-47 was a friggin' nincompoop.

I think it's more he's trying not to contradict the stupid things President Trump says.
That's got to be a pretty difficult position to be in...especially the lie that China pays the tariffs.

I've seen a couple of his interviews and speeches, and if there is a voice of reason in Trump's cabinet he is it.
