of Clemson with or without graduating that it worked out for better?
D Kendrick does not count as he was asked to leave.
I am sure there is someone that I am missing.
Or list the ones that went horribly wrong...

Zerrick Cooper did pretty darn well.
Chez Mellusi had a good year for Wisconsin when he transfered. Got hurt this year I believe.
I'd guess there are a few more.

Chase Brice easily had the best career after transferring to Duke then App St.

Chase Brice would have led us to a playoff the last 2 seasons had he stuck around. Assuming Dabo wouldn't have treated him the same way he has Cade which is a very real possibility.

Chase seems like a great guy but he remained extremely inconsistent throughout his career after Clemson. He has the inconsistency of DJ without the big arm. No way he would have led us to a playoff. I watched him live at Coastal this year. He cost Ap the game with a really bad int in the 4th qtr.

Transfers from Clemson are those who think, or know...

that they aren't going to get much time on the field. I do not blame them and believe it's good for them to not have to wait a year to play.
Our lack of numbers who transfer here is most likely due to not many people who change for that reason are apt to become starters here. We are loaded with talent and have been for a while now.
I appreciate the portal. It gives the young guys a way to seek their fortunes without penalty. Saying Dabo doesn't use it correctly is wrong. He relieves guilt knowing he's done well to teach players everything they put out the efforts to learn without harming them by promoting their transfers.
I like the NIL because many kids need some money to function socially in a college environment. I saw many of our BB players and our physically larger football players in the 80s while I was at Clemson. I though it was a shame that all they ever wore was sweats passed out by our athletic department.
I wondered about how they afforded to take a date to dinner or a movie. That left me hurt. I was poor but I didn't wear a size 17+ shoe so I could reason why they all wore school issued sneakers rather than anything else.
I wish all these kids could be paid.

usually around $2,000+ per semester. That's about as much as a part time job would pay.

If it was more playing time they wanted. It worked out for most of them. Can't say that any hurt Clemson by leaving.

I would guess Puma, Tchio, Dukes, Pickney, Mellusi, and maybe Ladson got more playing time at their new schools.

Mellusi and Brice come to mind...
Not sure what would have happened for them if they stayed.
