2) Wake Forest (Only loss is to #1 Clemson)
3) Tennessee (Nearly lost to ACC doormat Pitt this season)
4) UGA (Refused to play last weekend)

In the past, Pitt has shown they can beat a playoff caliber team - even a CFP champion. I give credit to any team that can beat Pitt in any season.

I largely concur, other than I'd replace UGA with Wofford. The little guys need a chance, and that way our backups would get more practice before the title game.

That has 2 wins against teams that would be undefeated otherwise? I’m gonna go out on a limb and say no. But it was wake forest and syracuse and they had to try really hard to win those games so it doesn’t mean anything and waa waa our conference is harder and what have you. That about right?

They didn't play Clemson this year, so it's hard to tell how good they are. Until they play a ranked ACC opponent I'd leave them out.

Syracuse has shown that they deserve to be in the conversation at this point. Only one team, WF, has played Clemson closer. And that Syracuse loss is better than any of UGA's wins.

So, is Louisville number 6? They are SCHEDULED to play #1 Clemson, so they should be ranked as well. I can see the SEC logic at work in your rankings.

We only think Tennessee is back after beating an average to good Alabama team but we may see the SEC play itself out of contention with a full month left in the season.
If 2 loss LSU beats Bama next Saturday and then 2 loss Bama beats winner of Tenn/UGA, we could see some heads pop on TV.

I agree but I'd put FSU at #5 and Syracuse at #6.
Sure FSU has lost more games, but they played us harder and grit and determination need to be considered as well as victories. A lot of so-called "better" teams don't try hard enough to merit a top 20 ranking.
