When we had almost a decade of no major hurricanes making landfall there wasn't a word about this meaning much of anything, yet as soon as one eventually did it was suddenly proof of the climate being out to kill us due to the policies of evil oil loving Republicans. When you're in a cult things like facts or reality have no bearing on your bizarre beliefs.
