Maybe smart but childish and not classy. The officials should have been aware of what was going on and stopped it. They are supposed to be the adults on the field.

Any one would have done this. I get its bush league but no rules against it. Plus they don’t have to use some players and have wear on some players as well.

Yep. Just like 2 years ago when our lady golf team had a chance to win the acc. It rained but it's mandated they can only play 3 consecutive days. Hence the tournament canceled and reverted to previous day scores.

As for baseball, that's why games get canceled on rainy weekends. Rarely will you ever see a dh on Sunday. Good rules set up to protect players and not just affect their academics... yeah right. Although it's laughable now, as you know, at one point in time, that was important.
