Sad to see him leave, but I think it potentially opens the opportunity to get a highly rated prospect in from the Portal too. I hate to say upgrade, but I think that's exactly what can happen here.

Has much to work on with his offensive output for next season. Shot 14.3% behind the arc, 68.8% FTs and assist to TO ratio just over 1/1. Will be interested to see how things go.

Coach Brownell hinted on Walt's show that they might be going after two bigs in the portal.
Hope one could be Brown from Syracuse. Hopefully his former teammate JG lIII after his great experience could help recruit him to Clemson.
Would be good replacement for Clark.

Sad to see him go. He was a homegrown product. He and PJ were the only scholarship players from S.C.
I admire his commitment to the team. Have to respect a guy (in this day and age) who redshirts his freshman year and then receives little playing time in his two subsequent years. I was a fan of Josh and believes he has plenty of talent along with athleticism. He'll shine wherever he ends up.

OK. can we get straight talk. Beadle is in the portal and did not play any in the tourney. Chase is a great player but his brother could not hit the broad side of a barn. Maybe I am wrong but Beadle looked like the better player between him and Dillon Hunter. I wish them all well but it seems we lost the better player with more upside.

I think they were very different types of players. You can tell Dillon Hunter was well coached at the high school level. He does so many of the "little things" well. The biggest thing that got him more playing time in Brownell's system is he limits mistakes, plays within himself and the offense and, played solid defense since day 1. But Dillon also had the lowest per40 scoring average on the team- even behind Bas Leyte.
That was the difference we all saw in Beadle. He could be electric. At the least he's intriguing. But these coaches are often proven right in their decision making. I could see Josh going to the SoCon or Big South and immediately average 15pts/g but history tells us it usually doesn't work out that way.

Hate to loose Josh because I think he’s got a lot of upside with his athleticism. But I can understand why he’s doing it, he’s good enough to be starting somewhere. That still wouldn’t be a sure thing here by any stretch, so I don’t blame him for not wanting to risk having to burn another year of eligibility on the bench. Maybe this means Brad has gotten a transfer commitment from a guard and the team already knows about it.

If Chase really makes is final final we as of now, are hurting for guards or as they say nowadays "the 1 and the 2". I thought he was pretty good, maybe he heard Chase IS coming back and he wants to play more sooner than later ?
