Anyone know what the metal structure to the left above ticket office is? Elevator shaft or steps?

It looks like elevator shaft and steps for the upper deck. I am assuming it is for access from the new "bridge" to the suites.

I drove by that yesterday and wondered the same thing. As above I'm pretty sure its elevator access. However it appears that it does not access the upper deck concourse, it only goes to the suite levels. The part above I think is probably for mechanicals/pulleys for the elevator boxes. As far as I've seen there is no similar structure on the south stands. I don't think they would create access from the upper deck to the lower deck on one side and not the other. There is already a 3-elevator bank on the south boxes, but I think a single elevator on the north side, which is why (I think) they are adding the new elevators on the north.

although I agree it may include steps as well for foot access to the upper deck. but still nothing like that on the south stands.

Steelfab in Charlotte. We also provided all of the steel for the south stands renovation and recent expansion of Freeman Hall.
