So glad he’s been reinstated. Yes he made some poor choices but hopefully he’s learned his lesson cause he’s been working his tail off this whole time and never gave up.
I stand by the fact that I think he could have been Clemson’s best pro WR ever and a future HOM. Go watch his highlights with the Steelers. Great hands, 6’4”+ with ELITE speed. I wish him nothing but the best moving forward. Go Tigers!

I hope he has found the help he needed. At 31 maybe an NFL team will give him a few years to earn an income and help going forward. Praying for the best.

Come in here on Saturday night after a loss when the drunks are calling for the coaches' and player's heads and you can see the people who need help.

Pot is not the worst, but all addiction is bad. I feel for him and his family. I hope he has his life under control.

Cannabis is a drug. If someone has the choice to make millions or smoke and they choose to smoke instead, then they have a drug problem. I think it should be legal but that doesn't stop private companies from prohibiting it's use as a condition of employment.

Cannabis is a plant.
Many people, like Martavis, use it for pain relief. It’s very telling that it’s more acceptable to get prescriptions for very dangerous opioids than to use a naturally occurring plant. He could have taken tons of opioids and become hopelessly addicted, but could have kept playing in the NFL…would that be better?
Thankfully the NFL has updated their policies. He never would have been suspended with todays rules.

So, you think everyone who uses cannabis does it simply to get high? You probably also think “Reefer Madness” was a documentary.
A LOT of professional athletes use cannabis as an alternative to opioids. Actually not just athletes. Opioids will kill you.

I think Jimmy Carter said it best: The penalty for smoking marijuana should not cause more destruction in a person's life than smoking the marijuana would have.

He didn’t make poor choices. The NFL did by suspending him.
