For those worried about the scholarship numbers, it appears Dabo isn’t concerned. I suspect we are done trying to recruit anymore high school Oline for the ‘24 class. This guys video shows size but he certainly needs some more work technique wise or he will be abused by a D1 lineman. It’s a start though. Could be a good depth player with more development.

It's a start! We will have quite a few scholarships opening up as we have some entering the portal. To late in the game for this class to fill it with players that are left. Use of the Portal here is a wise move!Also. if they have been somewhere for a year or two then they have already been in some type of conditioning program.

than the offer to the UVA center a couple of years ago or the OL from Louisiana. They both ended up elsewhere but the point is people are acting like this is the first time when its not. I think Dennis deciding elsewhere was the catalyst here. Only 2 more guys on the board from HS and 1 is expected to commit to Auburn and the other is a ??. They obviously feel like they need 1 more possibly 2 which means they expect some others besides Putnam to leave.
Hopefully we can land this guy since the staff obviously wants him. Easier said than done.

I appreciate what Dabo has done for Clemson. He's the best thing that has ever happened to the program. That doesn't mean he is infallible and cannot be questioned. I also expect he will always do what puts the program in the best position to win. I don't think we can reasonably say that has always occurred over the last few years. Our current coaching staff is the most obvious example of this.

Excellent. Even though he isn't a super highly regarded player, and even though he hasn't even committed to Clemson yet, this is a HUGE step in the right direction. To my knowledge, this is the first time that Clemson has publicly offered a specific portal player (excluding grad transfer backup QB's). That should go a long way towards proving that the staff is actually serious about being willing to bring in transfers, which might make a big difference in recruiting and perception.
