I know the final score is what matters...ain't nothing less important than the score at halftime...but these numbers paint a picture of domination. What an impressive season on offense and defense! Defensively, the 2nd half of the last 6 games are a thing of beauty...

second hald adjustments alln year on us, and of course Mond played lights out that game.
Could there be any truth to the idea that BV showed Bama a bunch of junk to chew on in the U5C game? Would Bama fall for a nibble of cheese like that? Only the staffs know I guess.

They went with more aggressive offensive line tactics. The double team, double chip where there but they were also tackling our Dline constantly. A good many plays you will see not one but two Clemson defensive linemen on a flagless ground. Then there was a few crazy bounces of the ball, all in aTm's favor.

The chart shows:
1st quarter feeling out the opposition
2nd & 3rd quarter we got them figured out and poor it on.
4th quarter we go deep to our bench and play reserves.

That 2nd Q stat is telling. The Tigers buried quite a few teams before the half this year. Dabo has really come a long way with clock management since his early head coaching years. It's really astonishing how far he has come from a coaching standpoint in 11 short years. He has made some great hires over the years but I think Woody McCorvey has had a lot to do with Dabo's progression as a head coach.

10 of 15 games the opponent did NOT get a TD in 2nd or 3rd Qtr combined. Let that sink in, of course a lot of the 4th Qtr TDs were vs 2nd or 3rd string.

there is NO WAY we are going to have any kinda decent season . . . NO WAY.
The doomsdayer's and the LOOK AT THIS crowd make me nuts on this board.
FOR THE MOST PART - week to week will NEVER be an apples to apples comparison. It is such a waste of time & worry.
