Simmons, IMO. ETN had a game or two that he wasn't really a factor in the outcome. You can scheme for ETN and make the offense rely on the pass to beat you. So far this season no team has had an answer for Simmons. He's a problem from anywhere on the field.

I saw some film cutup by someone earlier this season where he had played, safety, DB (nickel I guess), inside and outside backer and even D-end, that is incredible versatility. He is going to get paid soon.

My instinct is to answer Simmons, but ETN has gone to another level recently. Hard to say.
One thing though is clear: If I were an NFL team, I would definitely draft Simmons ahead of ETN.

Mainly because running backs only keep their speed and cutting ability so long. Also takes way more hits than Simmons will lay.

I think Higgins will be in the NFL HOF one day if he stays healthy and goes to the right team.

That’s so hard to say one player is really the best of them all. I’d choose TL as we know where we would be without him: losing the Natty, because we did.
With him, we won it.
As good as ETN and Simmons are, neither can claim that kind of difference.
A final note: Gage Cervenka has been declared the mvp by some group because with him in the game we are always 6 points better. Interesting stat.
