I knew when those 2 calls by the refs late in the 4th Qtr. were overturned in favor of Mercer,things were not gonna end well

Not sure but regardless if the were or were not,they always find there way to calling a game that Clemson is in and good bit of the time dictating the outcome

They are not ACC refs strictly. They’re regional refs who cover games for all level of schools. Couple friends are on the crews. Some games are called better than others and some refs are better than others, but I’ve found they have no allegiance toward any school and just want to show up, get paid for the game, and head back home. It’s not a big enough money sport to have fixed refs rigging games.

Yep. Devastated. We waited too late to wake up. That last free from the 8 m pretty much summed it up. Bounced off goalposts... but I've never seen us turn it over like we did. Even lost more draws than I thought we'd ever see against mercer. We'll have to pull off the upset over unc and then probably Florida to regain the mo. This should really serve as a lesson to the team that you have to bring it every game, every possession.

I noticed that too,especially when the Tigers turned it over and Mercer got the ground ball pickup

Mercer hasnt had a great season but theyre not some scrub team that we should

Destroy. They recruit excellent talent and they have a veteran coach who knows what she’s doing.

Pretty much expected a loss or two like this as we just aren’t a battle hardened team yet. UNC is an almost guaranteed L, and Florida will take a great effort to win. After that Stanford is the only real roadblock in our way.
