My portfolio is up this year - TZA, GME, and my whole 401k in the money market
Silver was pushed down again by the banks doing more shorting but that bubble will burst and destroy them in the process

The hardcore base will ride or die with him to the bitter end. I'm genuinely curious where his floor is...my guess is about 25%.
I would also guess that's where Donald's popularity rating is headed. You break the stock market and the global security arrangement in your first three months, all the while trying a blatant and open coup and a willful and deliberate destruction of the rule of law while stuffing your pockets like Bart Simpson in a candy store, and you've got the richest man in the world riding shotgun while being all glassy-eyed and crazy-like from ketamine, swinging around a chainsaw at CPAC, and gleefully firing your government, your popularity is going to take some hits.
Supposedly the middle 40% of the nation are independents, and another 10% or are registered to one party or another but are not diehards about it. I think we're about to see how true that is.
Up until now it's been the folks on the fringes who made the most noise, but it's starting to be all the folks in the middle who are losing their minds now. And when you've got 75% of your district screaming at you and throwing furniture in town halls, those hardcore MAGA's seem a lot less scary. There is a certain floor below which your party will not follow you. It felt like Joe Biden was testing it at around 40%. He couldn't have survived 35% and 30% would have likely been The End, and right there - he'd have gotten the 25th Amendment called on him.
It'll be fascinating to see if Donald goes ahead and still tries to ram his Billionaire Tax Cut Redux through Congress. Something tells me that isn't going to play very well either.
