True but all four of our coaches from his tree have been sad. Scott, Venables, Elliot and Napier to some extent. Napier knows how to buy them though haha

Does Napier count as part of Dabo's tree or does he belong to Sabans tree? We fired him, Saban hired him

Elliot pretty much signed his own death warrant by saying he is keeping Kitchens, dumb move. I don't see UVA being much more than a 6-7 win team with their AD/Admin moving forward.

when Kirby started his own program, he immediately got to a Natty just a few seasons and he got into a dynasty shortly after

...

Korby Smart is just on a whole other level and is the heir to the most elite coaching tree

I agree. Look at Oregon's Dan Lanning. A superb job. He may win the National Title this year. They have the best team in the country. A branch off Smart's coaching tree.

Coaches get hired because they are already good on their own accord.

My organization hired me and I've been promoted four times in three years because of the work hours I've put in and the sacrifices I've made. That's why I was hired in the first place.

It's called on the job training. My supervisor is too busy to actually supervise me. It's been my own trial and error that I've had to learn from.

This whole coaching tree philosophy is hilarious. You either have it or you don't. You either evolve or you don't.

I can assure you Kirby was going to be a good coach regardless of Nick Saban. The fact that Saban hired him is BECAUSE he was a good coach, not the other way around.
