Although Villanova has a Rich Basketball History, this is a Step Down as a Head Coach. Obviously, it buys him more Years and $ as a HC. And he will be working for an Athletic Director who hired him. Because of the Big 10 TV Money and the Size of the Alumni Base, Maryland has a bigger Basketball Budget and more NIL Funds to pay their “STUDENT PROFESSIONALS”!

Villanova has two Nattys in the last 10 years. It's as close to blue blood as it can get. also because not in a power 4 it can get more $ from the revenue sharing.
