A pretty good high school boys team plays above the rim and is much bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic than the best womens' teams, even WNBA. It would be no contest.
It's a different game without the size and strength variable. A little more finesse, IMHO, and more skills based because they can't rely on the power game and board presence.
I've watched a couple of Clemson ladies games on TV and enjoyed them. The only thing I don't like is what they can't help - not a lot of fans, which kinda sucks, but I get it. What most people enjoy about basketball is the dunks and physical play - boxing out and all the battling in the paint. And the women's game doesn't have this - definitely not the same degree, anyway. So most basketball fans aren't as into the women's game. Makes sense.
I enjoy it, but I watch it knowing that it's a different game, even though the court and all the rules are the same. But I also enjoy watching women's soccer as well as men's (same game, basically, just a little slower since most of the ladies are a little smaller - but not by much), the women's lacrosse (we don't have a men's team, so I don't care), softball (totally different game), and even gymnastics (I have no interest in watching men in tights; but women in tights - I'm ok with that!). Basically, I'll watch any Clemson sports, especially in this off-season from football.
