That backup qb will be what we missed last week with Cunningham. The kid can run. Stack the box, gap integrity, spy the qb. They're going to try and play field position and rely on their D. Get up a couple scores and force them to go all pass.
Tigers should roll. 45-10

I've expected the freshman to start all along.

He played some against FSU and he started against GT.
He's a good athlete. I think he's a true freshman. He's raw, understandably. I expect D to attack him even harder than they attacked UL last week. He was 14-19-136 yards against GT. 19 rushes for 87 yards. (I have no idea how many of those were sacks.)
1. Pressure the QB. 2. Contain the QB.

If we haven't been prepping for the "backup" all week, I would seriously question the scouting of our staff.

Our football staff has been known to be caught off guard at times.

Hopefully they prepared for this scenario.

30 (Clemson) - 20 (Miami) - I’ve lost confidence in CU’s…

…Red Zone offense & Miami’s takeaway skills.
I’m not sure that the Tigers have corrected the turnover problem and they will probably have 2 Red Zone turnovers resulting in a 21 point difference (Clemson loses 14 points, Miami gets 7 points off of 1 turnover).
The score should be 44 (Clemson) - 13 (Miami), but I think the above scenario plays out.

So it's fair if our backup QB start?

Their backup QB had good statistics last week. Hope that his success ends today.

Jacurri Brown is faster & elusive, but not as good passing.

I think Wes will load the box and pressure Brown all day long to make him beat Clemson with his arm and quick reads.
