I don't see it swaying many voters at all. By now everyone should have a good impression of his character - those that were going to vote for him before the conviction still will and those that won't vote for him after the conviction were never going to. If this changes your impression of him you haven't been paying attention for the last 80 years!

This is true. What they also don’t realize is that we are not even a democracy. We are a constitutional republic. Either way, they hate our constitution and way of governing in every sense and this was one of many steps in heading towards Stalinism.

The Democrats have attacked him in the media for a decade, call him Hitler and a klansman 24/7, impeached him twice, pushed the hoax that he was a Russian agent for 8 years, found him guilty in civil court for sexual assault, found him guilty in civil court for inflating assets, found him guilty in criminal court for falsifying business records AND HE STILL LEADS THE NATIONAL AVERAGE WITH ONLY 5 MONTHS LEFT
There is a reason they call him teflon Don and he will win in November.I have talked with a number of people over the past few days who aren't Trump fans that aren't very receptive to the idea of the country being turned into a banana republic

I was honestly hoping that someone else would emerge during the republican primary. I think anyone else would beat Biden easily. However, the conviction will be a net negative for the dems. They just can’t help themselves from going too far. They are a win at any cost crowd for sure.

I don’t think people understand what “banana replublic” means. It refers to the Central American countries that were puppets of American industrialists and the US government. A win by Trump means we would again have the same sort of influence from Russia. Whether the trash who support him understand or not, we were heavily influence by Russia while that orange PoS was ######## himself in the oval.

Nobody knows at this stage. We will know a lot more maybe mid July. Let's see how it plays out. He will get probabtion and then he can't pretend he is the victim after that. That issue will fade or morph. It really just come down to independents. Time will tell.

We're not going to see people peel off of MAGA at this point. And Democrats can't "vote harder" against Trump. But independents, who aren't as tied to either party and many of whom wish a pox on both of their houses, are likely to shift toward Biden because of this.
I think on net, this will hurt Trump in the general election.
