Anyone who kills four, nine year old kids and others is a demented, lost soul. The fact that he chose Christians (insuring innocents) to kill, with premeditation, further darkens the situation/aptitude of the killer. If you can't see any difference between this and other murders of adults, then...

You are missing the point. It is a big difference when you decide, plan and map out your intent to kill as many 9 year old kids as you can. And then to plan it out as a hate crime, insuring that you kill a certain sect, makes it worse. The idiot that randomly goes into a crowd and starts shooting is no where near as dastardly as one who intends to kill young kids and then does.
And, this girl, as in almost all other mass shootings, is a coward. That is why she planned on attacking a school with young kids. They pick out places where they think there will not be any guns to kill as many as possible. They fear places where guns may be present. This proves that gun control does not work...almost all mass shootings in our country are in places that ban guns.
All mass murderers are mentally disabled. She was no different than any of those, but she proved she was even more evil than most others in her deliberate killing of 9 year olds!
Anyone who does not see that this person was particularly evil compared to most, can only be people who already hate Christians. Since they hate Christians, they really think this was no big deal and in an odd way, is justified due to some past evil they think Christians have done.

she had a goal of killing Christians, just that she targeted this school. The reason is not listed at this time. That may end up being the case, but the motive isn’t stated. She was a student, so there are a lot of potential reasons that could have been in play. Let’s not jump to conclusions until we have facts.

Hasn't it been reported that she had attended this school? That would suggest she targeted the school because of her experience with it.
But I get that the "christians are an oppressed group in a 65% christian nation" is an important narrative to perpetuate.
