Pre Trib's Resurrection Problem
May 29, 2025, 9:37 AM

|
The pre trib rapture calls 4 Bible witnesses liars by creating a non existent 2nd resurrection of the righteous & forcing it into the Text before the tribulation.
4 Bible witnesses confirm that there is only 1 resurrection of the righteous. 1 of those witnesses tell us that that 1 resurrection of the righteous does not occur until the cusp of the millenium & it includes beheaded tribulation maytyrs.
These 4 witnesses are Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, & Revelation 20:4-6. Without a 2nd resurrection of the righteous, pre trib collapses & is unworkable because the dead must rise first. And the only resurrection of the righteous includes tribulation martyrs, then there is no pre tribulation resurrection/rapture.
Daniel 12:2 King James Version 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Just 1 of the righteous....Pre trib makes Daniel out to be a liar here.
John 5:28-29 King James Version 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Just 1 of the righteous...Pre trib makes Jesus out to be a liar here...
Acts 24:15 King James Version 15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Just 1 of the righteous...pre trib makes Paul out to be a liar here...
Revelation 20:4-6 King James Version 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Just 1 of the righteous & it includes tribulation martyrs. Pre trib makes John out to be a liar here.

That's presumptious.

Your assumption is that the resurrection is a temporal event.
Luke 23:
"43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."
He also told Martha and Mary in John 11:
"25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
Let's not make a big deal out of rising from the grave. We rose from the dead when Jesus saved us. Any other resurrection is then trivial and not worthy conflict between brothers. Certainly not to condemn another's belief.

I guess it depends on how one interprets and understands scripture.

required for salvation or spiritual wholeness or fulfillment. Also, like almost everything in the bible, people will interpret and twist it say what they want it to say.
