a pattern & a warning.

There were 2 streams of manuscripts; one from Antioch, 1 from Alexandria. The Alexandrian stream gave us all the modern versions. The Antioch stream gave us the KJB.

In the book of Acts Alexandria has 4 negative mentions.

The synagogue that conspired against Stephen included Alexandrians. (Acts 6:9-11).

Apollos from Alexandria was preaching an incomplete gospel & had to be corrected (Acts 18:24-26).

Paul got on a ship of Alexandria (Acts 27:6) that wrecked (Acts 27:41) & he ended up being bitten by a viper (Acts 28:3).

And Paul got on another ship of Alexandria (Acts 28:11) that had the sign of Castor & Pollux, the Gemini twins. Castor had a human father, Pollux father was Zeus. Zeus = king of the "gods". According to 1 Corinthians 10:20, those "gods" are actually devils. So Zeus = king of devils. And Pollux = son of king of the devils. So Pollux = antichrist. Then that ship of Alexandria sailed to Syracuse, Rhegium (to rend, split, or break), & Puteoli (sulphorous springs....sulfur = brimstone)

And on top of all this, antichrist will come out of the old Greek empire (Daniel 8:21-25) that was once ruled by the namesake of Alexandria, Alexander the great.

And Alexander the coppersmith did Paul much evil. (2 Timothy 4:14)
