Whatever the reason for all the chatter, I hope he chooses to be a Clemson Tiger. He offers much, but at Clemson he will receive much for the rest of his life. It'll be a decision he never will regret.

If he chooses Clemson, it’s because he is smart.
If he goes elsewhere it is $$$$ 💰 and he probably would not have fit at Clemson.

I hope this true! He lives an hour away from Clemson and I’m thinking that combined with how many DLinemen Clemson puts in the NFL + most likely be in the starting rotation next season will be the magic potion to land him. One thing among many is that I believe sets Clemson apart is the Paw Journey and obviously the culture. Tigers win this in a photo finish!!

Fact is, this one is as tight to the vest as any recruit. We don’t know what he’s thinking and until a Tiger source confirms one way or the other it’s moot.
He obviously likes Clemson and has passed the character test initially, otherwise he wouldn’t have an offer. I think it’s a battle between money and his heart. I won’t be mad at him if money wins, but I sure hope there’s enough down-to-earthness to plant himself where he can best grow.

Honestly this kid may end up being one of those that commits then decommits then commit then decommits.
Even if he did choose Clemson tomorrow I don’t think this is over.
This feels like one of those that eventually flips for the bag in the end.

Texas Tech is offering an offensive tackle $3 million for freshman year.
Kids that buy into such offers gonna soon find out that in year 2 the team has to lower their salary or lower the salaries of teammates thus causing teammates to flock to the portal.
Ain’t no way Texas Tech gonna pay him 3M year for 3 years.

1. He wants to be close to home he will choose Clemson
2. He knows he will be developed for the next level he will choose Clemson
3. He knows he will be developed for life he will choose Clemson
