Congratulations. My wife and I will make 38 Years in September and she can still get into hers also. S I on the other hand would probably need to let the pants out a couple of inches. Hope you both enjoy your Anniversary and many more in the future.

My wife and I were high school sweethearts....been together since 12-10-1972! We married our last semester in college, 1978! Yes, next year will be our 50th together, and this is our 43rd year married.

It’s too bad these young newly married couples don’t follow the Bible like men like Spud and his wife.
I want to give a shout out to my Mom and Dad. They dated 2 years and were married 62 years. My Dad loved my Mom as much or more the night she passed away on January 31, 2019
at about 8:30 pm. My Dad grieves every day. But I feel like he has helped other couples to learn to love their spouse more than because of my Dad’s stories about he and my mom.
I hope those who are struggling with their marriage will put your marriage in God’s hand. He can fix anything no matter how bad things seem. You just need to trust him and have faith.
I did not do that. I want to just say short of losing your spouse IMO Divorce is He$$ on earth.
Spud May God continue to bless your marriage. And for all those other married couples I pray for God’s Blessings on your marriage to.

Spud ,Congratulations . A beautiful lady . My beautiful bride of 47 years can still fit in her's as well and I still wear the same trouser size as in the Clemson days...not bragging ...just can...active life here. Know you are an avid fisherman, have you ever tried ice fishing? My younger brother in South Carolina is coming north to try it for the first time late January. The best . We wish you many more.

The greatest fun for me when fishing, is to make that awesome cast, and that bass waiting for your bait to move, and he nails it as soon as it does. Nothing better than that in fishing for me, and I don't see getting that thrill dropping a baited hook down an Ice hole .

Joe. Both of our parents and grandparents lived very long lives, so...I, we, have a chance to make that...
Ob a lighter note, I was in Pandoras in Atlanta a month or so ago buying her a bracelet, and two guys in their late twenties, early thirties struck up a conversation with me. I told them I was just buying it for my wife, but that we would celebrate our 38th anniversary in May. One of them said,"Man, that seems like a lonnnnng time, I am working on # 7....". The other fella, kind of in a fog said,"I been married a month, a year seems like a long time to me"....He may not make it.....Just sayin'.

You're right Spud, that guys marriage maybe in trouble. My 1st 10 years with my wife felt like only a few months had past, and our 2nd 10 don't feel all that long ago since we were married, and we're on 22 years now!!!

You maybe onto something there Skeet bc, after my 1st wife passed away, I shanked it a couple of times after that, and I was starting to feel that I wouldn't ever find true love again until after about a week of meeting my now wife. We were married two months later, and that was 22 years ago!!!

Ok, while we are talking survival stories lol, me & my will be celebrating our 28th anniversary soon also. I doubt either one of us still fit in that wedding dress anymore....lol
