Every sane person with decent financial means who truly believes that both Trump and Kamala represent choices that are akin to those of Weimar Republic Germany should have planned to leave the USA and live in a country that wasn’t doomed to become an authoritarian hellscape.
I see you haven’t left yet. Glad that you’re sticking around.

I don’t like his criminality and lack of respect for basic decorum.
January 6 you know. Horrible handling of the Chi-nah virus. Plus all the kooks that come with him who aren’t nearly as likable.

Congressional transcripts from J3 through J6 regarding Gen.Mark Miley’s e-mails to his subordinate commanders prove that Trump, back in J3rd, had requested Milley to call up 10,000 troops to keep ‘everything safe’ on J6. These transcripts were kept under wraps until ~ 3 months ago.
That hardly sounds like the plan for the organizer of the protest to take over the government. Or do you disagree.
(Milley, in an act of disobedience to his boss … the Commander in Chief … refused to call up the troops.)
Trump then requested that Nancy Pelosi use her power as Speaker of the House to take the steps to bring in 10,000 National Guard troops to keep the J6 event safe. Pelosi refused to do this; she was recoded admitting while talking in the phone that SHE (Nancy Pelosi herself) had errered (she admitted to her ‘responsibility’) by not taking action to call up the Nat Guard troops.
Again, if Trump had been organizing the protest to in fact be an insurrectionist army composed primarily of old people wearing silly clothes, then someone forgot to,tell him that a bunch of troops would have hurt the chances that he’d actually take over the government.

Even if you agreed with his policies and disagreed with Harris' 100%, Trump isn't a person who should ever hold public office. If you're a real Conservative, how can you vote for someone who has committed 34 felonies? Mocked the disabled? Disrespected our military service members? As far as that does, the guy just isn't mentally able to be President now. He isn't the person he was in 2016, and that's not saying much.

On Jan 6 while our Capitol was under assault and the lawful actions of Congress where interrupted...his VP put into a protective location, members of Congress taking shelter, and on and on....and he did absolutely nothing for 2+ hrs.
There is no other politician in any other situation that would be allowed to hold office again...but some of us just chose to glance right over the fact that our POTUS willfully chose not to protect our Capitol for hours.
Ignore everything else the man has done and said...this alone makes him unfit to the hold the office. Period.

It's a pretty effing stupid one...
He should have sent out communication to his supporters instantly to calm down and get out of the Capitol. It took over 3 hrs for him to do this and all of his advisers were begging him him to. And when he did, the message sucked.
He could have gotten sheet moving with the national guard much faster.
Do you really think the President was powerless setting a couple of miles away on the WH while our Capitol was being overrun?
Good lawd man

He didn't gather all those people to the Mall and encourage them to go march on the Capitol from the beginning? What if he accepted his defeat like a man and let us have a peaceful transition of power like all the other times in our nation's history?
THAT's why he's unfit for office.

to get the message out that he didn't support the actions at the Capitol.
And, of course, the other point I mentioned about managing an armed response to the uprising...notably via the National Guard.
It's just like you to boil it down to calling for a "tweet" and then calling everyone an idiot.
Pay attention and stop pussing out in these type discussions. If you want to come on here and comment and criticize (which is what this place is for), then at least have the balls to make a genuine effort engaging in debate/discussion.
The over-arching point is that he didn't want what was going on at the Capitol to stop. And that's one of the very many reasons...but enough all by itself...that he's proven he isn't fit for the office.

… and he is a convict.
That “If” is affixed to your post is understandable yet still strange. Strange that any meaningful % of our citizens would/will vote for any convict. There are many reasons not to vote for Trump, but the Alvin Bragg sham trial with 34 convictions is not one of them.
The NY apellate court is very likely to overturn those verdicts.
Jan 6th and everything leading up to that, along with declaring he could suspend the Constitution is plenty enough reason.
Harris-Walz is a poor choice for other reasons. It doesn’t have to be a binary choice though.

I will agree that the GOP candidate will always be vilified by much of the media regardless of the candidate, but Trump's is very well-deserved.
And to think it's at all admirable to be a "troll" as the President is laughable/sad/telling.
