Yep, especially when their fines were the bare minimum for racing and reckless driving!!! That only mean that when fines are that low for very young people, that is inviting them to do it again bc they believe the fine will only be $50 bucks for the second offence...

That's just the bail amount, not the fine. Clarke County is a liberal Democrat run government. Low bond amounts and own recognizance bonds are the norm for EVERYONE.

This is what win at all cost, recruit anybody regardless of their character jump in the portal and pay whatever the asking price is looks like. Multiple arrests no integrity and no loyalty. I think this is probably why Dabo is so careful and choosy about who he lets in the program and why I appreciate what he’s done. Yeah they are kids and kids mess up and need second chances and to be taught. That’s why Dabo has the “Love shack.” Let’s keep being choosy and keep Tiger football clean. Saw on the 4 letter network that he had pled to a lesser charge ( reckless driving and minor in possession of alcohol) not sure about GA law but in SC you lose your license /it's suspended for the minor in possession
he will most likely play since it is not a DUI anymore
I hope he learned something. His mom seems pretty involved with her boys. I would bet his at home punishment is going to be one for the books!

If players are not held accountable the Coaches need to be held accountable, just as parents should be. Start suspending coaches or fining them large sums of money and some of this mess will clear up.

Since Jan 2023, dawgs have had 12 arrested. Clemson two. But don’t let numbers get in your way. After the fatal car wreck, the AJC reporter that did a deep dive article into the culture at UGA was fired. Also don’t forget dawg player have a fixer show up whenever they get arrested. Dawg program is trending nationally today and not in a good way.

We certainly are not above reproach, but in my opinion our Coach and staff do a very good job of building a culture that a.) does not tolerate this type of stuff and holds players accountable and b.) encourages young athletes not to be in those positions.
I know we have also had vehicular incidents with our players. Maybe it's splitting hairs here, but in my opinion there is something to be said for "reckless" driving versus an admitted street race, given the latter seems to be more 'thought through'.
Regardless, everyone drive safe out there and get off their cell phones! Too many good people are lost to car crashes.
