It's going to take spring ball and August to figure this out. Also potential injuries could be a factor. But yes Hunter Johnson could very well be the next Clemson QB to kick Mouth Carolina's ###.

Pretty easy to see that Coop and Tuck were given the option to leave. I think the coaches facilitated the transfers, not that they asked them to leave but that if playing time was important that moving on was probably their best option. Its not uncommon for coaches to give that option to guys. Nothing wrong with it happens all the time. As far as the other QB's I don't see any of them leaving this year. I think each one probably thinks they can win the comp and I doubt that any info on the Qb spot, like one of them has caught or passed Kelly, will be announced before the end of fall camp which would at the very least keep them here for another year. Then after that it just depends on who won the competition.

Its KB's next year unless injured. That would be Johnson's best chance. Other than that he's done here unless its as a backup.
Selfishly i hope he stays around but if i was him i'd go elsewhere.

If Hunter loses the QB competition AFTER Kelly Bryant (if he’s still playing QB) leaves Clemson then yes I think he transfers

any collegiate game experience. If you have paid any attention to what has happened to some teams over the past few years, injury wise, that should scare you. No matter what an individual has done in high school, there is a learning curve at the next level. Johnson should see more playing time next year than this past one.

Hunter is good, very good. Urban Myth is that Trevor Lawrence is the second coming ... but it ain't over till its over. The few times Hunter was in he did well, very well

Even if you don't win the starting job, you may be one play from the starting position. I think with the QB situation thinned . . the three capable guys should be good for Clemson and competition..
