Good for him leaving Houston, he might have gotten shot pulling that stunt. Although a Trump Caravan may have been safe, law abiding folks, but armed in Arizona too. Should have just let one of his fiancées drive him to the game!

Point to you because I’ve never heard that one (how appropriate), and I’m pretty sure I’ll use it at some point.

Please don't do that. An innocent person could die. It could

be a passenger in the car that is riding your bumper, a peron in another car that the person behind you swerves and hits, or it could be someone in your car. Heck, it could be the guy riding your bumper. He's an idiot, but he doesn't deserve to die. Don't do somethinig that you will regret the instant you do it and never be able to undo it. Nothing ticks me off more than someone riding my bumper. I can't stand it. But the best thing to do is get out of their way and let them go and have their accident somewhere else. And nothing worse than when they think if they get closer and closer to your bumper, you will speed up. i'm thinking to myself, I'm not getting a speeding ticket to get me somewhere faster and I'm sure as hell not getting a speeding ticket for you.
When I was a very young driver, my dad and I were driving on the interstate in Kansas. I believe it was I-70. We were in western Kansas. I was giving him a break from driving so he was in the passenger seat catching a little sleep. When he woke up, I was riding very close to the back of a car. I was young, like 18 or so. I didn't even realize what I was doing. My dad woke up, assessed the situation for about two seconds, and before telling me what I was doing wrong, very calmly asked me to pull over. It wasn't dangerous to pull over as there was nobody around out there. So I pulled over and he very calmly said, look around and tell me what you see. I said I don't see anything but wide open space and empty road. He said, "exactly, including us, there are only two cars in this whole side of Kansas and you think it is a good idea to drive six inches off the back of the other car? Really? Learn to drive man!" That's what he did. Then he said whether you are driving on a busy interstate or not, space is your friend, you need to remember that.
And that was it. I never drove like that again. It is atounding there are not more accidents with people driving very fast on other people, expecially here in Atlanta.

Like Dabo said, look out the windshield and not the rear view( paraphrasing). U prolly one of those people that ride in the left lane holding up traffic. Hitting the brakes is idiotic.

FYI I get pissed at women and people thatswerve anytime a dog or a cat or a squirrel runs out into the road and I’m like what you’re doing is stupid and insane! It’s a dog or a cat or a squirrel not a car with a family or a bunch of people in it. When you swerve to miss an animal you could run off the road and hit a tree and kill you and your family or an oncoming car and kill your family and their family! You don’t swerve for a squirrel or a dog or a cat. You hit the brakes. The animal gets killed, so be it! Better than me or my family or someone else’s family!
Also, regarding my above message, I don’t slam on the brakes the first time. I hit my brakes momentarily and let off to make sure they don’t run into the back of me. But I’m sending a message. If they keep tailgating me then I get more aggressive. But I send a message First a couple of times. If they keep it up then I really am going to get serious!

How about you obey the law and keep a distance enough to avoid hitting someone in front of you. And maybe pay attention of your surroundings instead of your phone or the stuff that is just out of reach or a hundred other things u are doing, except DRIVING....

See, my dad taught me what to do from the other side of things. He did so while teaching me to drive a stick. He said to drop it from 5th to 3rd, but keep the clutch in. Then tap the brake, let out the clutch, and floor it. He said it would look like you were slamming on the brake and the car would jerk, but you'd really be accelerating.
About 20 years later, we were driving down I-85 between Augusta and Pleasantburg exits. Some moron started riding my bumper instead of passing me even though there was no one in the fast lane. I'm watching him in the rear view mirror, and his wife is asleep in the passenger seat. So I say to my dad "remember what you taught me about when someone is tailgating you?" He sees me looking in the rearview then looks over his shoulder and says "this should be fun." So I drop to 3rd, tap the brakes, let out the clutch and floor it. (I did make sure no other cars except the tailgater were anywhere around before doing it). Stayed watching the rearview the whole time. As soon as I tap the brake/let out the clutch and the car jerks, the guy freaks out and slams on his brake while simultaneously shooting his right arm out across his wife's chest (at least he tried to protect her). Meanwhile I'm like a quarter mile ahead of him now. About 5 minutes later, he finally passes me in the next lane. He refuses to look in my direction when he passes me. His wife is sitting there with a pissed off look and arms crossed staring straight ahead. Me and dad about died laughing.

I usually allow my cruise control set the distance that I follow behind someone, but if it one of those complete idiots that will ride in the left lane at the same speed vehicle beside them in the right lane for miles, I will stick the nose of mine on your bumper, and slam the brake if you to be ignorant bc, after I hit you, I'll be glad to show the cop my video of what you done, and how you were blocking up the left lane. The drivers handbook states, slower traffic to keep right, and if your are driving the same speed as the slower vehicle in the right lane, then you are in the wrong, and it's a double whammy if you hit the brakes bc you want to control the speed of the traffic behind you. When my wife bought me my new escort iXc, she got the Escort video Cam with it, and I run it every time I'm behind the wheel so I'll have the proof of what I'm telling the cop what happen, Slower traffic belongs in the right lane, and not beside the slower vehicle in the right lane!!!

Maybe your wife can get you a driver handbook. You are stil at fault if you hit someone in the a--...So show the cop what you want. Both of you get a ticket...

That's both true and untrue. If you're the person in this situation that ran into the back of someone then yes, you're still guilty of riding too close to someone. However, the person who hit their brakes also shares responsibility if they simply hit their brakes because they were upset over the person riding too close to them. If the person riding behind you did have a camera going then it would be pretty easy to prove that you hit your brakes for no reason at all.
I've worked in insurance before, and contrary to popular belief the person who runs into the back of you won't automatically be on the hook for buying you a new car. If it can be shown that the person in front of you was brake checking then that changes things. South Carolina is a shared negligence state which means that both drivers can share fault in an accident. In the above described situation I could easily see that accident as being ruled a 50/50 shared negligence situation at least as far as insurance is concerned. So at the very least when you brake check someone you should at least be prepared to owe for the cost of repairing your own car.
Even if the other person would be 100% at fault, I'm still not sure why anyone would want to risk having another person crash into the back of their car at 70 mph and take their chances on not suffering any major injuries.

Except...he was using both hands.
So he’s driving his a Ferrari with both bird-hands in the air...and both hands the peace finger didn’t make it up in time.
I’d cut him more slack for ‘just trying to get to work’. The peace sign is revisionism, but everyone is doing that these days.

You mean to tell me no one has never seen a Trump supporter flip off anyone before???
I've seen Clemson people and Chickenlina people do worse to each other.
I've seen Saints and Falcons fans do worse to each other.
I've seen 49ers and Raiders fans do worse to each other.
I've seen people in traffic do worse to each other.
Some of you need to quit whining like a fragile set of brakes wearing a frilly pink dress and just shut up.

This isn't just anyone acting like a jerk.
Oct 27, 2020, 3:38 PM

It's a famous Clemson alum, who is arguably the best Clemson NFL player ever, who is a role model whether he likes it or not, making a fool out of himself again. This is the same guy who disowned his alma mater, calling it racist, and publicly campaigning for building and college names to be changed because they are "oppressive," who has shown a continued pattern of disrespecting others including crapping all over his hotel room, not consistently showing up to practice, and complaining about coaches and teammates treating him "unfairly."
The guy is a role model who should do better, but instead he's an entitled snowflake with little regard for others.

Trump underwent a coup by the CIA and the FBI the American Congress Democrats and the main stream media. No president has dealt with the BS that he has dealt with. He even offered to work with the Democrats on prison reform and infrastructure and things to Democrats want because he’s not a true conservative and he’s not an ideologue. The Democrats could’ve worked with him in for the first time in generations we could’ve gotten real progress in this country, but the Democrats only care about power, and then never Trumper‘s, a.k.a. establishment Republicans, rhinos, they didn’t want to work with him either. Why? Because all of them Are power-hungry greedy a holes that don’t care about this country and care about people!

the previous president had to deal with birthers, an elected senator declaring the day after the election that republicans would do everything in their power to make him a one term president, an elected congressman screaming at him "You Lie" during the state of the union address, character assassination by association to a couple of different pastors, association with civil rights activists, association with foreign combatants because of his name, his travel itinerary scrutinized, his religious belief being challenged, his mother being called all kinds of negative slurs, his wife being called even more vicious and numerous negative slurs, and so many more... but still comported himself as someone who would not trade vitriol with critics, foes or enemies. all of this was happening to a democrat by republicans, it's a wash... both parties are sewer dwellers and neither can point a finger at the other without 3 pointing back at them...

Judge, you sound like a typical whiteman born to privilege -- you started on 3rd base and have been celebrating like you hit a homerun when you touched homeplate.
Today, the Bill Barr DOJ was exposed for modifying documents in their efforts to keep Flynn out of jail. Bill Barr and TheRump are just alike. Flynn violated the Hatch Act by talking to the Russians (Dec 2016) prior to TheRump being sworn-in; he admitted it; and he was convicted for it. (TheRump was told by the FBI; he didn't care.) We just don't know what Flynn has on TheRump -- must be really bad. Golden Fountain video?
Also, today, 2 Trumpers in Ohio were indicted for sending 67,000 robocalls to intimidate Dem voters. The same Trump Heros have already been indicted for doing the same,on a big scale, in Michigan. (If TheRump is so great, shouldn't he win without cheating?) Don't feel bad for these 2 Trumper morons, TheRump will give them pardons and nominate them for the Congressional Medals of Honor.
Meanwhile, TheRump admin is trying to do all they can to reduce the votes of Dems, via the USPS, the courts, and by scared GOP governer's restrictions on voting.
Have a nice day. Next week will be painful.

That's hilarious.
I think they all completely suck - we should be able to have a million times better options than these 2 lying freaks . . . .
But you using "robocalls" as an example of "cheating" is some kinda serious funny.

No president in history has dealt with white Trump has dealt with. The CIA and the FBI with the complicit help of the Democrats and the deep state and the mainstream media attempted a coup to overthrow a duly elected president. The mainstream media has totally abandoned their fiduciary duty to the American public and become nothing but a PR machine for the Democrats. Hollywood, TV, radio, music, social media, big tech Are all interfering with the election infinitely worse than the Russians or the Chinese combined! Big tech companies need to be broken up or highly regulated and I’m a freaking libertarian! But they are crapping all over the first amendment and interfering like crazy in an election which is what the Democrats say they really care about. You people are nuts. Liberalism truly is a mental disease!

"class" when they've been cheering on Trump from the sidelines for the past 4 years.
In fact, I seriously wonder how many of the pearl clutchers in this thread would react if TRUMP himself did the same thing to a Biden parade. My best guess is that, they'd open up wide for a little more...swelling or not.

If there is one, Joe won't see it.
He'll be napping in the comfy seat. Jill will say, "Joe, we're here. Time to wake up."
And Joe will remind her, "Just tell me what to say one more time, baby, and you'll get a lifetime pension."

It's time to make a decision on who or what you really think about hopkins. Hopkins is a talented football player; however as a person and an American he is a miserable failure. Does he really think he would have the money and privilege's he has if he were born in china????? I can and will answer that question for him and all of you hopkins supporters. #ell no, he would be working in the factory making .50 per hour making the shoes he is now wearing. So to all of you boot lickers go and defend this radical anti American!!!!!!!!

I don’t believe anything that comes out of his mouth. He acted as if he felt pain while at Clemson despite the fact that he grew up in the shadow of Tillman Hall and knew the history of Clemson before he ever step foot on that campus. I bet he didn’t know anything about Tilman or Calhoun honors College or any of that until somebody got in his ear to try and use his fame to start trouble! He has even said they’re not stopping with Calhoun and Tilman, next is Strom Thurmond. If not for Thurmond there would be no death Valley!
He has repeatedly lied about why he doesn’t say Clemson university in his bio for NFL games. He’s given at least three different excuses over the years.
He’s a spoiled rich jerk!

Bestest thread since Ohio state game last season. Just wish I owned stock in the blood pressure meds y’all take. Keep balling nuk. Humble background, young man trying to make it in this world. Works hard. Wins games for his teams. Speaks his mind. Shows the world who number one is. Future hall of famer FROM CLEMSON. And ruffles the f out of some feathers. My kind of dude. Love telling my boys about him. He has dudes on here talking about testosterone and plowing their wives. He is soooooo freaking great.
