found this video on the Tube that laid out a fairly crafty idea of how to cure your sweet taters.

basically, get a tote like this:


a seed heating pad:


and a mason jar.

Concept was to put taters in tote, put mason jar in tote w/ some water, crack lid, put tote on heat pad, put probe / thermostat in tote and set at 80.

Here's where I messed up...I got some of these laying around:


They don't really "crack" due to how they're designed. So I basically snapped em shut.

Checked on my sweet taters yestidee, it was rainin in that sombich and there's mold EVERYWHERE



So I went from at least 50# of sweet taters, to zero pounds of sweet taters and I gotta clean up my mess.
